Shri Bankey Bihari Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, in the holy city of Vrindavan in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated near Shri RadhaVallabh Temple. This temple is among the 7 temples of Thakur of Vrindavan including Shri RadhaVallabh Ji, Shri Govind Dev Ji and four others. Bankey Bihari Ji was originally worshipped at Nidhivana. Bankey means “bent in three places” and Bihari means “supreme enjoyer.” The image of Lord Krishna stands in the Tribhanga posture. Haridas Swami originally worshipped this devotional image under the name of Kunj-Bihari (“Enjoyer of Lakes”).

‘Banke’ means ‘bent’, and ‘Bihari’ or ‘Vihari’ means ‘enjoyer’. This is how K???a, who is bent in three places, got the name “Banke Bihari”.

Prem Mandir is a Hindu temple in Vrindavan, Mathura, India. It is maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, an international non-profit, educational, spiritual, charitable trust.The complex is on a 54-acre site on the outskirts of Vrindavan, and is dedicated to Lord Radha Krishna and Sita Ram. Rang Mahal is said to be the ‘Shringhar Ghar’ of Lord Krishna where he used to decorate his beloved Radha with ornaments. Even today, people believe this temple is still visited by Lord Krishna at night.

Every single day Nidhivan is closed after the evening ‘aarti’ of seven. Practically the whole place is shut closed and nobody is seen around, even the priests are not allowed to stay there. It is believed that every night Lord Krishna visits the temple to perform the Raas Leela with his beloved Radha and the gopis. Even the trees around Nidhivan are of different shape, they are entangled with curved branches symbolizing as they are not trees but gopis disguised as trees. People say, these trees transform into gopis each night and perform the Raasleela.

Hit Harivansh Ji was born in a village, at the instructions of Shri Radha Rani, he left for Vrindavan. He was the incarnation of Lord Krishna's Flute. When he reached Charthawal Village, Shri Ji instructed him again that in the village one Brahmin will give him two daughters and you should marry them as per the customs. Shri Shri Radha Rani alone was his guru. When he was only 6 years only, the Shlokas of Shri Radha Sudhanidhi appeared from his mouth continuously.
